Lormit® Legal Support Services

The Lormit Personal Services network offers a full range of services to assist you in your legal steps outside Quebec.

Lormit network members are not bailiffs, but, depending on their province, provide a complete line of services similar to those offered by Quebec bailiffs.

Services offered

Corporate Filing/Searches
Lormit will attend Corporate Registries to register, file or search documents.

Court Filing-Issuing/Searches
Lormit can provide reliable and accurate filing and searches at all court levels.

Document Retrieval
Obtain true copies of documents from the applicable source.

Identity Verification
Lormit personel will make an appointement and travel to the person(s) and obtain copies of and cross-reference the photo thereon of identification previously agreed to be provided.

Locates
Lormit utilizes all available ressources in order to locate the individuals you are seeking.

Obtain Signatures
Lormit personel will make and appointment and travel to the signatory to obtain their signature.

Obtain and Witness Signatures
Lormit personel will make an appointment and travel to the signatory to obtain and witness their signature.

Obtain and Witness Signatures with Affidavit of Execution
Lormit personal will make and appointment and travel to the signatory to obtain and witness their signature and provide you with an Affidavit of Execution.

Occupancy Checks
Lormit will attend the property to determine if it is occupied. If so, Endeavour to determine who occupies the property. If not, Endevour to determine if it is secure.

Private Investigations

Process Serving
The delivery of a notice, in legal proceedings, as evidenced by a sworn Affidavit of Service.

Public Record Searches
Lormit will attend to the offices of records keeper to obtain your search.

Registries Filing/Searches
Lormit will attend to the offices of the Registrars to obtain your search.

Remote/Mobile Commissioner for Oaths
A Lormit Commissioners for Oaths will make an appointement and travel to your deponent to obtain their signature under Oath.

Remote/Mobile Notary Public
A Lormit Notary public will make an appointement and travel to your deponent to obtain their signature under Oath.

Skip Tracing
Lormit utilizes all available resources in order to locate the individuals you are seeking.

For forced execution and seizures (enforcing a judgment for example), you will be directed to the Lormit head office, who, at no charge to you, will refer you to a properly authorized and licensed service provider in the Province or Jurisdiction where the service is required.
